Public Consultation on Possible Role of Financial Instruments under RDP and EMFF OP.

Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Michael Creed, TD, recently announced the opening of a public consultation on the possible introduction of a pilot Financial Instrument under the Rural Development Programme (RDP) and the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) Operational Programme. The consultation is based on a detailed evaluation by Indecon Consultants, who were commissioned by the Department to assess the feasibility of such instruments. Please find press release here.
