NIFF calls for engagement by Minister Eoghan Murphy T.D. and the Department of Planning, Housing and Local Government with inshore fisheries sector representatives on the impact of the escalation in applications by offshore wind energy companies on inshore fisheries.

Over the past year NIFF on behalf of the inshore sector has tried to engage with Minister Eoghan Murphy T.D. and the Department of Planning, Housing and Local Government to discuss the escalation in applications by energy companies in particular wind and its impact on inshore fisheries.
