Covid-19 Temporary Fleet Tie-up Scheme Open for Applications

The purpose of the scheme is to reduce the volume of seafood entering the market which has been depressed by the Covid-19 Pandemic, while at the same time keeping an adequate number of vessels fishing to maintain a food supply. The scheme will contribute to the fixed costs incurred by fishing vessels while tied up.
