Public Consultation – Draft Fisheries Natura Plan for Cockle in Dundalk Bay (2016-2020) and Appropriate Assessment
A public consultation process is now underway on a draft Fisheries Natura Plan for cockle fishing in Dundalk Bay (2016-2020) and Associated Appropriate Assessments documents.
The plan aims to ensure the sea-fisheries activities taking place in the Dundalk Bay Natura 2000 sites are in compliance with the Habitats Directive. It follows on from the previous plan, which ran for five years from 2011.

Comments are now invited on the draft Fisheries Natura Plan for Dundalk Bay (2016-2020) and the associated Appropriate Assessments documents. The closing date or receipt of submissions is Friday, 1st July 2016.
